Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscript, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer and that He saves from sin and death, all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Romans 5:8; 1 Samuel 2:2)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, who is true God and true man, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sins of the world through His shed blood. We believe in His burial, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His high priestly intercession for His people and His visible return to the world in power and glory according to His promise. (John 1:29-34; Luke 1:26-35)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and daily lead those who believe in Jesus Christ. (John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe all men by nature and choice are sinners but God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life; we believe therefore that those who accept Christ as Savior and Lord will be forever in God's presence and those who reject Christ as Savior and Lord will be forever separated from God. (John 3:16; Matthew 25:41)
We believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, which is The Blessed Hope and the personal, pre-millenial and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Zechariah 14:4; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:1)
We believe the local Church is composed of regenerated believers, voluntarily united together for the purpose of the worship of God, the fellowship of believers and the proclamation of the Gospel of the Christ throughout the whole world.
We believe our Chruch distinctives are Scripturally sound. They include the competency of the individual soul in direct approach to God; the priesthood of all believers; a regenerated church membership; the symbolic ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper; the autonomy of the local church and its fellowship with other like faith churches; and solemn obligation to majority rule with equal rights to all and special privileges to none: the absolute separation of church and state; and a worldwide program of missionary endeavor in obedience to the final command of our Lord.
