We believe that God's Word is truth (John 17:17) and that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). We fully subscribe to the EFCA Statement of Faith, which outlines our theological doctrine as a church. God's Word is central and authoritative in our teaching and daily living. Prayer is a priority in all that we do, corporately and individually. Faithful evangelism is God's command to every believer. Caring relationships demonstrate the love of Christ.
Intentional disciplemaking is our calling. We desire to be a church
that makes the Bible live, by holding God's Word as the only standard of truth for our teachings and actions.

We desire to be a church
that worships God in spirit and truth, in that we offer both expressive and reflective opportunities to glorify Him through
song, prayer, sharing, and fellowship.

We desire to be a church
equipping men for leadership in their families, the church and the community, and where people are being equipped for
works of service.

We desire to be a church
that provides discipleship, prayer support, fellowship and personal accountability through a network of home fellowship
small groups.

We desire to be a church
that is externally focused on our local, national, and international oppotunities to proclain the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in
support of the Great Commission.

We desire to be a church
in which the congregation is fully committed to an active prayer life, through personal quiet times and participation in
prayer ministries of the church.

We desire to be a church
that uses its present and future facilities to impact our community for Christ by engaging in cooperative ministry activities
with Kona Christian Academy, other Christian ministries, and appropriate community groups.
