Visiting all three farms – HAF visit...We put together three farm visits in one for your convenience. Just contact us directly through our contact page and we’ll organize your day for you.

If you would like to rearrange the schedule, please mention your desired date and time.

8:45 am: Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee-The morning starts with coffee and fresh baked banana bread at Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee. Talk story about the history of Hamakua coffee and traditional drum roasting.

10:00 am: Mauna Kea TeaTake a walk in the unique landscape of a tea garden. Enjoy green tea and learn about natural farming, a method of farming that teaches you to look at the importance of weeds & pests.


11:15 am: Volcano Island Honey Co.Your morning will end on a sweet note at Volcano Island Honey Co. View a demonstration hive and learn about how honey is harvested from beekeeper and owner Richard Spiegel.

Prices

Visit all 3 farms- $60. Kids 6-18 1/2 price. Kids under 5 are free.

Directions
Take Highway 19 to Honokaa.
Watch for Tex Drive in sign on ocean side of Highway 19 near Honokaa, at about mile marker 43.
At Tex Drive-In sign turn off highway 19, away from the ocean (towards mountain) to Mauna Loa Road.
After turning off highway take immediate right onto Old Mamalahoa Highway (a small, two-lane winding country road).
Follow Old Mamalahoa Highway about 1.5 miles, uphill. You will see a 25 MPH sign on your right and JJ Andrade Slaughterhouse sign on your left. After a sharp curve, Waipahi Place will be immediately on your left. If you see the Ahualoa Hog Farm sign on the left and Kapuna Road on your right- you have missed Waipahi.
Turn left on Waipahi Place, head on up, take your first left, and you are now on the 3B Half Horse Ranch, home of Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee.
