Hilo Farmers Market

Big Island Fresh, Big Island Best!

The Hilo Farmers Market is a must-see experience when you are on the Big Island. Over 200 local farmers and crafters sell their produce, crafts, gift items and tropical flowers in a festive outdoor atmosphere that recalls back to the old "plantation" days of early Hilo.

Located at the corner of Mamo Street and Kamehameha Avenue in historic downtown Hilo, it's open all year round. Big Days are:
Wednesday and Saturday
6:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Tropical fruits and vegetables grown right here in the Hawaiian Islands. We have several vendors with certified organic produce too. Our newest vendor is 7th Sister located inside the building. The list of vendors is always changing, but here are some of the products you can find at the Market this month:

Adjoining the Farmer's Market there are 80+ craft, merchandise and food vendors. A fun place to shop for that special souvenir or gift!

Come and enjoy my style of Thai foods in the Hilo Farmers Market. Starting with my locally famous vegetarian green papaya salad and cucumber salad,

I also have tofu summer rolls with a choice of three different dipping sauces; sweet & sour, mushroom w/sesame seed or peanut sauce; a very delightful tapioca pudding made with coconut milk, sweet potato & taro; pumpkin curry w chicken; sticky rice; Thai ice tea; and mesquite wings w/jasmine rice.

Thai food vendor at Hilo Farmers Market. We have hot food and bentos - Pad Thai noodle, Spring Rolls, Summer Rolls, Curry & Much more. We also have Thai Iced Tea, Iced Coffee and farm fresh eggs.

   

SUZI’S DESIGNS in the Hilo Farmers Market

Suzi’s jewelry is handmade, one of a kind with beads from around the world. “Once in a life time” moments captured in photos by James Nolan are displayed along with T-shirts by Kathi Joy of Kauai. Bring a little Joy in your life. Judy designs one of a kind bags and purses. They are easy to use with lots of pockets. She makes her bags from colorful cotton fabric. Suzi also has beads, pendants and findings.
