White Sands Beach Park Page 2
(aka Magic Sands, La`Aloa Park)
South side of the beach park is La’aloa Cove. A popular shore entry for scuba divers and snorkelers. A grassy, tree shaded path leads down from the parking lot to a rocky beach.
The snorkel cove is never crowded. A perfect place to sit and read.
Great snorkeling off the sandy beach as well.
Swim out 30 yards to see turtles and numerous colorful fish.
January storm waves can sometimes exceed 10 ft. Exercise caution and consult with the lifeguards when available.
Just north of White Sands about 100 yards is a popular kids ocean front park with tables, plenty of shade and grass. Click here for Pahoehoe Park.
